Ramadaan 1436

With the Grace of Allah ﯻ this year’s Ramadaan program was underway it was to be a long and spiritually energised month ahead.

The first night of Tarawih brought with it much joy, having the opportunity to see the many faces and personalities whom we have missed, and also a sadness at the passing of some of the centers regular patrons who have passed on. Nevertheless, the vibe was good and energy was positive.

 The Tarawih salat was to be performed by Hafiz Ashraff Hansa, Hafiz Riyadh Bux, and Hafiz Irfaan Khan (may they be protected).

The iftaar and supper project proved to be another pleasure.  This year again we had the opportunity of serving between 70-100 people daily with iftaar and a supper meal.

Haleem distribution:

Following the tradition, every Sunday for the month marked the distribution of Haleem.  This year we maintained two flavours of haleem, being chicken haleem and beef haleem.  Together with haleem, naan and cold drinks were also distributed.

We thank all the brothers who pulled together to make this endeavour a success. May Allah be generous to you as you have been generous.

Zakat Distribution:

This year Zakah distribution was with a diffrence.  Together with the grocery hamper, we managed to procure new clothes for distribution.

A total of over 600 hampers have been dispensed during the month of Ramadaan.  Alhumdulilah.

We thank all the brothers who entrusted us with the distribution of their Zakah, and giving us the honor of serving the poor.
