Eid ul Adha

Eid morning was greeted by the congregation with the sounds of takbir.  

Moulana Muhammad Afzal Shaikh addressed the eager congregation, recounting the amazing history of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS), and the various tests that were place on him.  Moulana also explained that the sacrifice that he was called upon to make was the most severe of tests placed on him.

The lessons that are taken from this sacrificial ritual, is that muslims should be committed to their faith in totality and be prepared to take on sacrifices to achieve the greater spiritual achievements.
