The Durood Corner is the Qadri Razvi Centre's community Durood Shareef campaign. Since September 2022, brothers and sisters from Chatsworth, Durban and beyond have been reciting Salawat upon the Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and adding their counts here, so that together we can see how much Durood our community sends.
Every recitation counts, whether it is 11 after Salah or thousands over a week. Recite in your own time, in any authentic form of Durood, then enter your name and the number you read. Your count is added to the community total straight away.
When to recite
Any time is a good time, but the Prophet ﷺ encouraged us to send abundant Durood on Friday and the night of Friday, which begins at Maghrib on Thursday. Many in our community make Thursday night their Durood night.
